The Thematic School of Advanced Vocational Training Egaleo has been featured in a recent update by Cedefop, as part of the July–December 2025 highlights from Cedefop’s VET toolkit team and Ambassadors tackling early leaving from VET.
Cedefop is the European Union agency that supports EU institutions, Member States and social partners in shaping vocational education and training (VET) policies through research, evidence, and policy tools. Its publications and thematic updates are widely used to inform European and national decision-making on VET reform, inclusion, and employability.
Dimitris Kiriakos, Director of SAEK Egaleo and Cedefop Ambassador, shared recent institutional activities addressing career guidance and early intervention for young people at risk of disengagement from education and training. Within this context, he referred to the SupportSphere Erasmus+ project as a concrete example of ongoing work focused on preventing young people from becoming NEET.
As SupportSphere progresses, this visibility reinforces its contribution to European efforts aimed at supporting young people at risk, strengthening VET systems, and preventing transitions into NEET status.
