The Erasmus+ KA220-VET project SupportSphere: Prevent VET Students from Going NEET will hold its Final Conference on 24 September 2026, from 9:30 to 14:30 (EEST), at Cedefop, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The event will bring together project partners, vocational education and training professionals, guidance experts, policymakers and relevant stakeholders to reflect on the main achievements of the SupportSphere project and discuss how its results can continue supporting learners, trainers and VET institutions beyond the project lifetime.
SupportSphere focuses on preventing VET students from becoming NEET — not in employment, education or training — by strengthening career guidance, mentoring and support systems within vocational education and training. Throughout its implementation, the project has developed practical resources to support learners in reflecting on their strengths, interests and future pathways, while also providing trainers, tutors and guidance professionals with tools to accompany young people during key transition moments between education, training and employment.
The Final Conference will provide an opportunity to present the overall progress and results of the project, share experiences from implementation, and explore how the SupportSphere approach can contribute to more inclusive and learner-centred VET systems across Europe. The event will also encourage dialogue among participants on the sustainability of project outcomes, future cooperation opportunities and the role of VET in supporting young people at risk of disengagement.
Hosted at Cedefop, the conference will also connect SupportSphere with broader European discussions on inclusion, early leaving from VET and support for young people in vulnerable transition situations.
By bringing together stakeholders from different educational and professional backgrounds, the SupportSphere Final Conference will mark an important moment to disseminate the project’s results, strengthen cooperation and promote the long-term use of the resources developed by the partnership.
