Introduction
SUPPORTSPHERE is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ programme that focuses on improving support and guidance in vocational education and training (VET). The project is based on the idea that education involves more than technical learning. Learners also need support to face social, emotional, and personal challenges that may affect their path through education.
Many young people in VET experience difficulties such as economic hardship, lack of motivation or mental health issues, which can lead to disengagement or early school leaving. SUPPORTSPHERE aims to respond to these issues by developing inclusive approaches that place the learner at the centre and promote equal access to education and training.
Through collaboration between VET providers, guidance professionals, community organisations and policymakers across Europe, the project works to create a stronger and more connected support system for learners. SUPPORTSPHERE encourages a shift from fragmented or reactive actions to a coordinated approach that helps each learner continue and complete their education.

Building stronger cooperation between VET institutions and external actors such as social services, local authorities, and youth organisations.

Needs Adressed
Many learners in VET face social, economic, or personal challenges that can limit their opportunities and increase the risk of dropout or marginalisation. SUPPORTSPHERE responds to these realities by promoting support systems that are both proactive and inclusive. The project addresses the need for guidance services that are better connected to external support networks, more personalised, and aligned with broader inclusion strategies at institutional and policy levels.
